Hi, I'm Alon Shrestha, an AWS cloud enthusiast currently working as a platform engineer.
I built this site to log my journey in tech, help myself learn, and maybe help someone else along the way.
I always wanted a site like this, but I didn't know what to write about. After some years of experience, I finally had something meaningful to share.
Cloud with Alon is where I'm focusing on building my personal brand in tech. I mostly share what I learn about AWS, cloud architecture, distributed sytems, and large-scale engineering.
I share those in the form of writing, where technical breakdowns, project stories, reflections, and lessons from my journey live in one place. I also share videos on YouTube.
My tech journey started in 2016 during my IT bachelor's degree, where I was first introduced to the cloud. Here's the quick story of my tech career journey so far.
My core interests are Cloud Architecture, System Design, and Distributed Systems. I enjoy building systems that scale, and becoming a better cloud architect is what this site is really about.
